Position Title: QA Engineer

Primary Skill: Manual Testing /Automated Testing

Experience: 4-8 years

Required Skills

• Design, develop and execute manual test scripts for Web application and API testing.
• Knowledge of Performance and Security testing will be an added advantage.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies. We will move towards automated testing in the near future and will require analysis and POC on different tools.
• Experience/Knowledge in Automated testing will be an added advantage.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.

Educational Qualification : B. Tech /MCA/ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science

 Soft Skills/Other Skills

• Good exposure to working with clients – Actively acquire information from stakeholders (rather than relying entirely on written specifications)
• Good Communication Skills – Maybe working with client QA Manager directly
• Excellent logical and analytical skill
• Experience of working in Agile scrum model with the ability to work independently will be an added advantage.
